The Fell Walker is a bespoke blend carefully curated by us using teas from around the world and lovingly hand blended at Dorothy’s Teas inThe English Lake District. The concept behind the blend was to create a hearty and sustaining tea with character and flavour. A proper Lakeland Fell brew! The blend whilst being similar to a breakfast blend has its own personality. We chose Assam to give the tea a malty depth and the Nilgiri and Sri Lankan teas to balance the flavour with fruiter, refreshing notes. Finally, we added the Yunnan for its rich, full bodied and smooth taste to marry all the flavours together. The Fell Walker can be drunk with or without milk and makes an excellent cold brew for summer sipping whilst walking on the Lakeland Fells! |
The large tightly curled ebony leaves, flecked with golden tips, brew a glossy chestnut colour accompanied by a smooth caramel aroma. The rich, coppery red liquor breathes malty smoothness and offers a characterful, aromatic and bold flavour.
The Fell Walker would pair very well with all breakfast foods or try with dark meats or hard cheeses.
