Black Rose is a rich black tea from Keemun delicately infused with the scent of rose. The flavour is entirely natural, and is created through a process of layering exquisite, sweet meigui rose blossoms with tea. Meigui roses are specifically grown to accompany this tea, and are revered throughout China for their legendary aroma and deep pink petals. The delicate yet rich rose flavour of this tea begs to be wooed by sweet goodies; enjoy with cakes and desserts. At Dorothy's Teas we especially love to indulge in a slice of gooey dark chocolate cake and a cup of black rose...a match made in heaven!
The small dark tea leaves mingled with pretty pink petals have a subtle rose aroma, underpinned by an enticing black Keemun nose. The infusion yields a dark copper coloured cup, with an initial clean astringency leading into dark chocolate hints, and finishing on a lingering smooth, sweet floral note.
Take black with cakes or desserts.
